The NTC Group, Inc. is an investment firm specializing in long-term equity investments in operating companies. NTC also provides management services to its portfolio companies including advice and other assistance with strategy, long-term planning, human resource development, management recruiting, organization, compensation, finance, and acquisitions and divestitures. NTC's objective is to grow the value of its portfolio companies and further expand the portfolio through acquisitions.

In April of 2007, T.B. Woods, one of NTC Group’s portfolio companies, was sold to ALTRA Holdings for $24.80 per share.

NTC's principal remaining portfolio investment is Stevens Aviation, a supplier of aviation services at five locations in the eastern United States and Colorado. Stevens provides corporate, private, and commercial aircraft operators with fueling and other line services, maintenance, modification, and refurbishment work, as well as aircraft sales. Stevens' maintenance, modification, and refurbishment business is focused mostly on Beechcraft, Piaggio, Learjet, Citation, Hawker, Falcon, and Challenger aircraft. Stevens is the largest independent service provider on Beechcraft products and has authorized service center agreements at one or more locations with Beechcraft, Learjet, and Piaggio, among others.
